Getting to Boston Central Library
The Central Library Building of the Boston Public Library is located on Boylston Street and Copley Square. One can get to the Library from the Copley T Station on the Green Line. While further away, you could also reach the Library from Back Bay T Station on the Orange Line. The final option is to walk to the Library from Boston Common and Public Garden via the Commonwealth Avenue Mall greenway. This way, Central Library could be an excellent addition to Boston’s Freedom Trail and Whale Watching explorations.
Where to Stay
If you prefer to walk to the Boston Central Library, you should consider booking accommodation in Boston’s Back Bay and Downtown neighborhoods. However, thanks to Boston’s robust public transportation system you could venture further out of the city center. Brookline, Cambridge, and even Revere feature nice and more affordable properties that are a short subway ride away from the Boston Central Library. Just make sure to stay along the T lines, close to the stations, and check for any longer term service disruptions and closures.
