While further away, you could also reach the Library from Back Bay T Station on the Orange Line. The final option is to walk to the Library from Boston Common and Public Garden via the Commonwealth Avenue Mall greenway. This way, Central Library could be an excellent addition to Boston’s Freedom Trail and Whale Watching explorations.

Where to Stay

If you prefer to walk to the Boston Central Library, you should consider booking accommodation in Boston’s Back Bay and Downtown neighborhoods. However, thanks to Boston’s robust public transportation system you could venture further out of the city center.
